Custom Colour UPVC Timber Alternative Sash Windows in Hampshire
Our customer contacted us as their existing windows were showing their age and not very thermally efficient due to the single glazing and draughts.
After a visit from Tony who showed them our product range and discussed the available options, they decided to replace their windows with Ultimate Rose UPVC timber alternative sash windows. These are high quality, energy-efficient windows which copy the features of a timber sash window almost down to the millimetre.
The windows themselves were painted Cream, and with the wide range of colour foils and finishes available with the Ultimate Rose window, we were able to exactly match the colour on the replacements. This also included all trims, sealant, and connecting sections on the bays.
There were several other options available on the Ultimate Rose windows which can make them virtually indistinguishable from timber sash windows. Firstly, chamber covers were installed in the lower sections of the outer frame to conceal the balances. Also used were the seahorse shape continuous horns which give a more decorative and traditional finish than other more contemporary horn designs. In addition, the Georgian bar design was copied exactly from the existing windows, using a 22mm astragal bar, with a with spacer bar in the glass unit, and white gaskets internally and externally to really blend everything together.
The installation went smoothly, and the customer was very happy with their new windows, as well as the service they received from the installation team.
